After giving it some thought over a few weeks, I've decided to leave behind my dA account. This may or not be a definitive thing, but for the time being, I feel like I need to take my original work off the net to rethink some things. I won't stop writing or drawing, I just don't think I should have it all out here. Some things, like fan art and fan fiction might stay, only not here at dA - the fan fiction you can find at my fanfiction.net account, which I will provide at the end of this journal. As for the fan art, I still don't know what I'll do with that, but since I don't do much of it, I might just take it off the net entirely.

I'm not going to delete my deviations - they are all in storage at this point (or at least I'm trying to move them there - my connection still sucks, and some things are difficult to do), just in case I change my mind, for some reason, and also to read back on comments left by y'all when I need some critique. My journals... I'm not sure if I'll delete them or not - some of them I'll most likely leave around, but there are others better off gone completely; it might take me some time to go through them and decide what to do with them, though. On the other hand, y favourites will stay - just because I'm leaving it doesn't mean I've stopped liking them. Same goes for the people I watch - I'll keep you watched so I can come and check up on you now and then, even if it's just from the shadows.

I don't think I'll comment on all the stuff I've yet to see/read, and for that I apologize. Also, there are plenty of unfulfilled requests, kiribans and presents which I won't get to do, either - again, my apologies for that.

I'll do my best to notify all the clubs I'm more or less active in of my departure in the next few days.

As for writings/drawings I've done for other people: if you are interested in keeping a copy of them, you can email me (mail @ end of journal) and I'll be more than happy to forward you the file over email. All I ask is that you do not redistribute it any further - showing it to friends is okay, just don't repost it or anything like that. Also, if there is anything you'd like to show me - kiribans or requests - you can either send a link to my mail, or send the file directly, too. I'd ask that you remove any of your deviations that have my characters or ideas on it, but that would be unfair - as long as there is proper credit, I'm fine with it.

I will still be available for the occasional art trade (or request or commission, too), if anyone is interested - as usual, holiday-periods are best to ask anything of me, since school takes up a lot of my time otherwise. Also, if anyone wants to keep in contact with me, there are a couple of ways to do so - also, at the end of the journal.

Lastly, I would like to thank everyone here at dA who has taken an interest in what I do, be it by adding my stuff to your favourites, by watching me, or by dropping a random comment on my page. It's been a good year and a half, even if I've been absent for most of it, and I appreciate all the support I've received from you, and I don't mean just the artsy stuff. I've been through some rough patches during this time, and there has always been someone here willing to listen and give advice and/or a soothing word - you probably don't know it or think it, but it means a whole lot to me. I'll always be thankful to those people - you know who you are, and I'll never forget you.

As usual, I've said a whole lot. It's late (or early, depends on your point of view), and I'm tired, and I wouldn't want to make this longer than strictly necessary, so I'll just say goodbye now.

Thanks, all - it's been a fun ride, and I'm sad it has to end now, but most good things come to an end. This just happens to be one of those things.
